Elyse's blessing day!

Ryan blessed Elyse on March 29. It was a beautiful blessing and lots of the family came. Many stayed for our block and then we had a big luncheon with both families afterwards. Thanks Liz and Denise (my sisters) for helping so much with the food! It was a beautiful Sunday, the weather was perfect and Elyse actually didn't cry during the blessing even though she was getting pretty big and did not like to be held in a laying position. Uncle Jeremy did a great job holding the bottle as they bounced her! After church and pictures Elyse was worn out and slept through most of her party! My sister in law Jill offered to make her dress and told me to design something. Well, I found a dress on a British Christening web site for 1000.00 pounds. I asked her if she could replicate that design. The finished product was exactly like it. She even hand embroidered the skirt part of the dress to match the embroidery on top! It even fit her perfect even though she was pretty old! The dress was just amazing and fun that it had long sleeves. So here are pictures of the day and I will post the dress pictures on their own. She is amazing and I am so lucky to have her as a sister in law. Thanks again Jill. You are so talented. Elyse is so lucky to have such an amazing heirloom!
