Happy Birthday Dad!
We had a birthday party for Kirk (Ryan’s dad) at our house. It was a surprise party and actually was a surprise or him. We were all waiting out on the lawn and he drove up and we yelled surprise! I made a cake of a red canoe that he used to have. I made a little man inside fishing… well almost Ace of Cakes quality, but hey what can you expect. It was a fun night and of course a little crazy… but the perfect kind of family crazy! Happy Birthday Dad, we love you! 19 June 2009

Brother’s Kayaking trip- Ryan and his brother’s went kayaking and found some good stuff including a waterproof camera… they had a good time (it was Caden, my nephew’s first time down) They love to go searching with masks for ‘river treasures.’ I cannot complain, I have gotten many pairs of nice sunglasses from their treasure hunting!!! 16 June 2009

a pile of shoes they found on the river bank... but none had matches... a little creepy!
this photo was actually taken with a $300.00 water camera that was found in the river

More kayaking fun! Ryan and I decided that we would get a group together of people in our ward. We seriously called 20 people and so many turned us down, but eventually we got some who were interested and had a great time kayaking down. After one rapid, we had kayaks, water bottles, paddles, and people strewn all over the river… but everyone had a good time. 13 June 2009

11 June 2009 we had my sister Heather’s bridal shower at my house. The theme was “It’s all about the bride dot dot dot.” Everything was polka dot or round and so cute! We had a good turn out and she got tons of good stuff to help fill up her new house in Safford. A good thing about having parties at my house is that stuff gets done, and these are my new curtains that came via fed ex just a few hours before the party. Ryan hung them up so they would look so cute for the party… yeah no more paper blinds!!!!
Sisters...
Rachelle, Melanie, Liz, Heather, Katie, Denise, Julie, Lindsay
My dad even made an appearance...(only to pick up my mom)

For 2 weeks this June, Haylee and Addilyn participated in a little gymnastics camp put on by a very talented 10-year-old neighbor girl down the street. (Talented meaning she can throw tucks and back handsprings no problem). Her technique for spotting is really good too. So this summer she extended her camp for 2 weeks instead of one for one hour every day. The best part the price was $10.00 a girl. They learned a cute dance and their ‘tricks’ have improved as well. Addilyn loves gymnastics and loved being big enough to go, but the day of the performance; she sort of choked and wouldn’t really participate. She ended up getting sick later that day, but I was so sad to not see her perform all her little tricks. She showed us later though. Haylee loved it as well. 11 June 2009
Haylee needed some shots for kindergarten, so my friend Erica and I took our girls down to the free clinic (which was surprisingly clean and very friendly place with no crazy’s outside.) The nurse was fast and really great with the kids. It is located on Broadway. The girls were all pretty brave but Mae, the one holding the bear, didn’t even bust a tear. Here they are showing off their wounds. Afterwards, we took the girls to Chuckie Cheese for some fun. We stayed for a long time and the kids had so much fun, even the babies!!! 10 June 2009
The war wounds (notice Addilyn is smilling... she did not have to get any shots this time)

Eating peas and loving it!
