We went to the Mother Nature's farm pumpkin patch with our friends the Alan and Erica and their girlies.
We took some pictures on the pumpkins, ate some hot and ready pizzas,
played in the hay maze, jumped on bouncers, and went on a hay ride and had great time.
Addilyn had a little Halloween party for joy school. She decided that she wanted to be a bride for this party (not to mention mommy had not finished making her little tutu for her ballerina costume!) They did a little performance and we ate cookies. It was super fun. This is Addilyn with her friends Mae and Kate.

This year included 2 different parties, the neighborhood carnival and the Lawlor family carnival (the latter being held at my house the Monday following Halloween!) We had a cotton candy machine, shaved ice machine, popcorn machine, carnival games, and fry bread... yes it is a great family to have married into! It was super fun.

Haylee was Little Red Riding Hood. (she had seen a cartoon and decided back in September that that was the costume for her) So we made her a skirt that she will be able to reuse for school and a little shinny cape!
Addilyn didn't really care so much about what she was, so she decided to be a ballerina. As I was buying the fabric for Haylee's cape, I came across some shinny pink and thought that it would make a great ballerina cape for Addilyn... so her little tutu was an old tutu revamped and cut smaller so that it would stick out more like a real tutu and the cape was just for fun. She loved it.
At one point during the neighborhood party, I couldn't find Addilyn. I had been watching from a table and she had vanished and I was seriously worried. So as I began to run around looking for her, I had seen her last by the trick or treat ally (refrigerator boxes that the YW make to look like houses). This is what I found...
I saw her poke her head out. She was in the box with a little girl from the street passing out candy to all the kids. This was her favorite part of the night! Thanks to my mom of course for helping me make Haylees and teaching me what to do for Addilyn's. You are the best.
I didn't really plan ahead and so I decided that I would be a red headed witch this year and that Elyse would be my little cat. She was super cute and really cooperated! Ryan was a referee... (a very hot one I might add!)

I'm so sad I missed the carnival this year! You all look great, and congrats on being creative and making costumes yourself! Some day I'll learn how to sew...
How fun! Love the pumpkin patch photos. Your family is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
