2011 started with a bang and here is our review of January fun.
My baby is officially big and says sentences! This is taken after a long day of successful playing.
Addilyn Marie is growing up and loves to be the biggest sister while Haylee is gone at school.
Haylee loves all things fun and enjoys life and chocolate ice cream!
Found this little prince charming while taking down the Christmas tree!
got all this wrapping paper for $2.00 a roll (its the good stuff from Hobby Lobby... score!)
Elyse had to get 4 shots, only because I didn't take her to the Doctor for a year! Funny thing about this is she hated the band aids and as soon as we pulled them off she stopped crying. Sad. But she is holding tight to her sticker!
In other news. Addilyn learned how to make mac n cheese (or yellow death as my Dad used to call it).
Elyse enjoys helping too.
Elyse changes her clothes a million times a day and generally ends up on a princess/tutu/or something fluffy and 'pretty.' Surprised you might be, yes this is the first child of mine that enjoys doing this and I just have to remember it is a phase, right?
I have also rediscovered the bath time in the sink during 5:00 blues since Elyse has decided to stop taking naps. Yes you heard that right, no nap time in this house! Yes, this is slightly making me crazy. But look at this face seriously too cute.
The girls made a fort and feel asleep in in (on the tile floor). This box kept them entertained for about 3 days straight. Bliss and creative bliss!
We went to Usery Park for a Saturday afternoon of Fun with our friends the Soelbergs. Yes we both have 3 daughters and yes they are roughly the same ages... so fun.

Daddy and Addilyn doing the monkey bars
Haylee has had some serious practice time on the monkey bars at school and is amazing. I recently tried doing the same task and was unable to make it to bar number 2. Try it next time you are at the playground... it is more difficult then you remember!
The Dads cooking dinner. Thanks Alan for the steaks... they were amazing!
my angels
Addilyn and Mae laying in the sand, because isn't that what you do at the park?
Riding in the truck to go to the trail head- all the girls!
About half way up Merkle trail. Yes it is a perfect hike for children with young families. We only went half-way because I had to get to a bachelorette party for my sister in law Tamsen. Loving the poses my little ladies.
only half the group!
Dinner at Mattas, dancing on the WII Just Dance and goodies and games at Brittney's. Thanks ladies for the fun!
Elyse riding the pony (this is the first time she actually has sat on her and not fussed!)
Daddy and Addilyn with her little pink boots!
Haylee showing off some of her tricks on the tramp.
For Martin Luther King day we went to Freestone Park and had a fun afternoon with Ryan riding the train
some water skis
the merry go round (yes, Elyse is screaming. She hated EVERY minute of it. She doesn't like motion! She must get that from her aunt Denise!)
and rolling down the hills getting covered with little stickers that did not come out easily. We found a ball and played a game. It was so much fun and the girls really enjoyed themselves. The weather was perfect. After playing for a while, Ryan left to go to a basketball game and we met up with my friend Erica and her girls.
Together we convinced the nice worker at the park to let them have one more ride, even though they were closing. So they rode the mini Ferris Wheel. So fun!
Mae and Addilyn
Haylee and Grace
Elyse and Clair riding the kiddie Merry-Go-Round
Group shot!
The pigeon that made the group shot VERY difficult. Obviously he is not afraid of people. He stuck around for about 10 minutes...

Ha, Ha, I never was afraid of carousels, just things bigger than that and faster moving. Actually afraid is not the word, sick would be more accurate when talking about things that go round. You also have to remember Elyse is afraid of my dog that weighs bout what?5 lbs???
Love all the pictures. I covet your camera just a bit, but thankfully I benefit too..
