New Years Day Picnic in the Desert 2012

Tradition holds that every year on New Year's Day we go out to the desert near Mesquite Wash to have a fire, ride quads, shoot guns, go hiking, eat food, and just enjoy ourselves. This year with New Years Day falling on a Sunday we all got to recover from our late night and then go out today refreshed and ready to enjoy the beautiful Arizona sunshine and green desert (we have had tons of rain!)
The grandkids like to ride with Grandma Treats the best!

The grandkids got some walking sticks from Grandpa and were all ready for a hike to get pottery and pretty rocks.  When we got home they washed them all and cleaned them up.
