Fourth of July

Yes, I know I am a little bit late... but here they are anyway. We spent the 4th just hanging around at home. Ryan got me my ipod shuffle for my birthday, and on my birthday, I took a long nap uninterrupted from babies... a priceless gift! Thanks again Ryan you are the best!
So in the evening, we decided to brave the heat and we went to my mom's, where we swam, did some little fireworks, and had pizza. Then we went to the country club nearher house that hosts fireworks. We sat on the canal bank across from the country club, and waited about 10 minutes for them to start. Then the show was directly over our heads, and it was amazing. It is a must on the 4th to see fireworks. It is something that I have always loved about the 4th of July. So being that it is also my birthday, means that I typically get to see them, regardless of the inconvenience! Just an added bonus. The show lasted about 15 minutes tops, and then we jumped in our car and went home. No traffic to deal with and just the right length for our girlies. Also, we could see 3 other shows going on from where we sat. It was awesome. What a great way to honor our country and spend my birthday!!!

Ju, I am crappy. Happy very late Birthday! I did think about you and thought that I needed to call you... but that was inbetween bouts of throwing up, so it just never happened... Tell Ryan that he is a good worker for getting you an iPod shuffle. I love mine. I'm pretty sure it's cooler than an actual iPod. And happy birthday. As if we are 26. And on the downhill slope toward 30. Unbelievable.
