Princess Haylee turned 3 on July 2. For about the last 6 months she has been requesting a princess party for when she turns 3. So we decided to go with a Cinderella inspired invitation. We delivered cards and 'glass slippers' (dollar store dress up shoes) to all the girls. Haylee took them to each door dressed up like a mini Cinderella. We invited 20 girls (mostly cousins, with some friends included, call me crazy, but I had some great help. Thanks Heather, Katie and Mom!) We found some Princess figurines at the dollar store and Haylee requested that they adorn her cake... so that was taken care of. Not too long ago, we went to Disneyland and part of the year of a million dreams, they offer a Royal Princess Gayla, where you learn to be a proper princess and prince and learn a dance. So I decided to replicate that idea for the party. So when the girls arrived they were greeted by one of my helpers where they were given a pink tulle skirt, and a crown with jewels to decorate. Then they were glittered and sprayed with perfumed and adorned with lip gloss. After becoming 'official Princesses' we played some games and ate lunch. Mini hamburgers, pringles, cheese sticks, and carrots were the menu! After lunch, the girls learned about being proper princesses and I taught them a short dance. Then we did Birthday Cake and presents. All of her friends, cousins, and Grandma's were VERY generous. Then the parents came back to the party. On the invitation, it told the parents they could stay the whole time, or come back at the end, where they would get a chance watch their daughters dance. So we had a little performance, and then all the girls got a balloon and we went outside and let them go. On their way out they received a balloon and a princess treasure bag filled with goodies, and princess accessories. All in all it was a wonderful party. Thanks again Ryan for filling all the balloons it definitely made the decorations, you get all the credit for that design! Later in the day, Haylee asked me if we could have another princess party the next day!!! So fun. Thanks again to everyone who helped. The party was perfect and a complete success!
PS: anyone recognize the dress?
