I love Arizona summers for this one reason alone... playing in monsoon rains. When I was a child I looked forward to warm rainy nights playing in the gutters (looking back I am sure that I collected so many germs, but who thinks about that as a child). All the neighborhood kids would come out and we would run and play. Well the other day it rained and it rained hard. We were
sitting on the porch enjoying the blustery weather when it started downpouring. We ran through the rain, then after a couple of times, Addilyn got a little scared at why mom was running and screaming in the rain, so we just watched Haylee dance and sing! I am convinced that as a mom, you just have to do things like play in the rain so that your kids can have memories of more than just the mundane (cooking, bathing, cleaning, etc). My mom always did stuff like that and it is those times that I remember the most! So here is the proof of the fun.Enjoy

I love it. As if she sings "Doe a deer..." Such a little Ju.
And ohhhh how I miss monsoon season. Sad.
Julie-
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I love that Haylee does a dance and sings for the camera. She's already a little performer.
I love the set up of your slide show too- it reminds me of the toy my grandma had that was just like it: you'd look through this little binocular type things to see the slide. Way cool.
p.s. I love the picture you took of rachelle and aaron- YOU'RE SO GOOD!

Yes, she sings doe a deer... it is the dance that she learned in her ballet class and she sings it constantly!!! When it started raining, she wanted to do her dance. She also insists on curtsying after every performance!
I enjoy her little personality.
Emily- That is why I chose this set up because it definately makes me think of that fun toy.
