Playing Catch-up!

1 March 2008 We went to Lehi Days. Haylee got to participate in the chicken race, hold baby bunnies, and ride on the pony. She loved every minute of it. Addilyn wasn't so sure about riding on the pony, but was a trooper and smiled for a photo. Meghan Ryan, Katie, and Haylee.

Cute little baby bunny, Ryan and Addilyn sitting on the fence enjoying the rodeo.

Some of the houses in my neighborhood have wild flowers covering their entire yards so I dressed the girlies up in their Easter dresses and took some photos. This is one of my favorites. (pre-chicken pox Addilyn)

7 March 2008 after bathing Addilyn and Haylee we found a large lump on Addilyn's groin area. It was growing larger very quickly, so we packed up, dropped Haylee off at a friends, and went to the emergency room. We started the night at Banner Gateway (Higley Rd hospital) and after a 2 hour wait in a crowded waiting room (with a contagious Chicken Pox Addilyn) we finally left and went to Gilbert Hospital (door to doc in 30 minutes). It actually was faster than that and we were processed in about 5 minutes after arriving. We saw a doctor and found out that her lymphoids were swollen and they gave her 2 shots of antibiotics. After a 5 hour ordeal we were beat. It was about 1:00 AM when we got home so Haylee ended up spending the night at Grandma Treats. Thanks mom for taking her. What we learned... don't visit the emergency room at Banner Gateway on a Friday night!

9 March 2008 Addilyn is cured of her pox, and Scott's mission homecoming talk was given today! He did a great job and then we stayed and went to primary with Grandma Muriel. Haylee loved every minute of it. Then we went to Bingham's and ate lunch, then home to cook some goodies and then back to the Bingham's for the open house! Lots of food and good conversation!

11 March 2008 Tonight we went to the dress rehearsal of the Easter Pagent. It was wonderful as usual. Haylee sat completely still and watched the whole thing asking Ryan lots of questions. She LOVES the story of Jesus's birth. The best part about the night was that it was a dress rehearsal and so there was not many people there. We sat close and the kids could spread out. It was great. From now on this will be the ONLY night that I go to the Easter Pagent with kids. After the show Haylee wanted to go and see the Angels and Mary. So we went by the gates and she met a girl, but Haylee said that she wasn't Mary because she had jewlry on. Then she met Jesus. She was so happy and loved every minute of the whole show. Who knew a 3 year old could sit so still. Addilyn on the other hand did okay. By about half way through we had to go and take a little walk and then I gave in and gave her my lipgloss and from there she sat still for the last 15 minutes covering her face, hands and clothes in shinny sticky lipgloss, but I did get the enjoy the last part!

12 March 2008 We went to the zoo with my sister Denise, her kids, my girlies and Haylee's friend Grace. This is everyone in front of the flamingos!

Haylee and two friends in the front yard. March = swimsuit weather, doesn't it?
