Addilyn loves flip flops and will wear anyones shoes that are left out, but mostly she takes Haylee's from her closet and wears them everywhere. Especially flip flops. Not such a bad thing, except she doesn't normally get the matches, so we end up with lots of shoes without matches. In regard to her own shoes, she would NEVER keep them on especially in the car. This was super annoying especially on Sundays when I would get her all dressed and ready and then the next thing I know she has pulled off her shoes and socks to play with my high heel shoes. This has happened since she could walk, so finally I thought maybe I should get her some shoes that look like everyone elses so that she stops taking them. So I found some that were not hard for her to wear and that she really loves. Since we have bought her these shoes about a week ago we have no longer had the above mentioned problems. In addition to the shoe thief being stopped, I never have to help her get her shoes on, and she ALWAYS knows where they are if they are not on her little feet. Most of the time, regardless of the time of day, she wears them. So I thought I needed to share some pictures with you of our little Addilyn's new shoes. So my question to myself... why did I wait so long to buy her some flip flops? Just think of all the grief spared!
As I was putting her to bed, she said momma "Shoes." So I put them on her and here she is sleeping in them... serious obsession!

Yeah!! Problem solved!! You have been talking about buying her some FOREVER!! Those are really cute! I would go back and buy 2-3 more pairs, so when these are destroyed, you have more! LOL :) Addie is just TOOO cute!
I can't blame Miss Addie for her love of shoes. They are an obsession of mine, too.

It is Marie, I have been reading your blog for sometime but just found out how to leave comments, I know how lame huh? Your girls are so cute, and you are having another! That is so exciting. I wish when I was living in your ward we could have gotten together, that would have been fun! I feel like I know everyone and keep in contact with them, but really I just read blogs and haven't talked to anyone in forever, blogging is so stalkerish! :-) Well hopefully I will talk to you in real life at some point and not just stalk you. :-)
