So I ran in my first 10K on Saturday the 20th. It was a beautiful run out in the Las Sendas community. The weather was perfect (didn't rain till we were done running), the course was hard but so satisfying, and the best part, it was for a wonderful cause. Ethan was a little heart baby similar to my sister Liz's baby Jake who passed away. His momma Heidi is a runner and put together an amazing race. At each mile marker she had pictures of heart babies which was a total inspiration to keep on running. Up to this point I have never done a 10k length and decided that I really love it. I felt great and really enjoyed myself and even surprised myself with a pretty decent time. 59:54 (I paid for it on Sunday... I couldn't move!). If she does it next year, I am definitly signing up!
Before the race...
Almost to the finish line (thanks Denise for documenting my run!)
Post race with my sisters Liz and Denise
After the run I took my stuff to the service organization for my FREE day at DISNEYLAND... Yes you saw that right. FREE. Go to Disney.com to see how you can too!. Incredible. Disneyland here we come!

I have been wanting to do a run for a while! Ugh. Oh, and the piggy bank is ceramic, but totally looks sewn. I will be sewing a couple of bunnies, though. Tutorial on that before easter for sure!
