April 2010

April activities...
loving our little pony Ruby. she is sweet and loves to sleep!

I ran in Pats Run in Tempe AZ with sisters Mel and Denise.  Surprised myself and did pretty well.  I loved the crowds and all the people. I definitely want to do it again!
Haylee started t-ball.  I loved t-ball and Haylee did too. She had a cute little pink bat and we dressed up her uniform with a flower and ribbons.  Here are some action shots of hitting and fielding!
When we signed up we didn't realize the commitment was every Tuesday and Thursday night... sort of overload, but her are her fans... (Elyse and Daddy with some sort of cracker stuck to her face) and Addilyn looking so cute and loving the opportunity to cheer for sister!  Go Haylee!
One day I asked and asked Haylee to get her homework done. She was seriously not wanting to. Eventually I told her she had to do it and there was not other option.  A few minutes later she finished and put her homework in front of me to sign. This was the note I found on a sticky paper... "Phonograms are not fun!"  I asked her about it and she said at first she wrote it on her homework paper and then thought that her teacher may not like to read it... so she put it on the post-it. Hey, I have no problem with expressing your opinion... how fun that she is old enough to be clever!
Swimming lessons with Mrs. Jennifer started at the end of April and went into May.  Addilyn and Elyse participated.  Addilyn loved every second of it and was so excited to go every week. Elyse liked to swim, just not with Jennifer. She did all the things she wanted her to do, but she screamed the entire time.. floating on her back was one of her favorite tricks.
and no I am not against bribing... lets just say that the Bingham girls were regulars at the McDonald's drive through after swim lessons to get ice cream cones..
I got a new haircut... bangs! (okay so this is the first time since the early 90s)... so I think I LOVE them and happy that they are NOTHING like the early 90s bangs
my cute little family. Yes I am biased and yes we love pink!
the girls went to the zoo with their friends Anastasia and Mya and their mother Tanya.  They were literally gone all day and had the time of their life. They got their faces painted like cheetahs and played in the water and saw the sting rays.  It was a fun filled day. Here are the little zoo animals!
petting the sting rays
the girls went to their cousin Savanna's water slip and slide birthday party. Oooo what fun!
