December Fun 2011

Lots of fun in December... here is a little recap
Addilyn got her hair trimmed and bangs!

Addilyn at her kindergarten singing performance for her school
Haylee participated in Ballet Etudes performance of the Nutcracker as a baby mouse (she is the one on the right of the bottom row!)
cousin Maddie was a gingerette
We came to watch one of the shows and at the end the girls got to do the back stage tour and meet the sugar plum fairy danced by Lauren who was amazing!  (Elyse was in heaven as during the show when the Sugar Plum Fairy came out she said "mommy I wan to be that one")
in Clara's sled

It was the ballet company's 25th year celebration and so the alumni moms who now have daughter's dancing in the show decided it would only be appropriate to put the party on.  So with the help of some amazing ladies and all of Bella Beginnings decor we transformed a sad white cluttered room that was kindly donated by the Shakespeare Company into a beautiful cast party for 250 fit for a 25th year celebration!

Emily Green (my cousin) made 250 beautiful cupcakes which tasted even yummier then they look (I know cause I sampled a little from just about every flavor!)  These are just 3 of the kinds she made.

the alumni with Sharon (the one who started it all!)

We went and saw the Christmas lights on a cold winter night at the Mesa Temple. They were beautiful!  All dressed in warm clothes.

We went and visited Santa at Bass Pro and when he asked what Haylee wanted she replied "a typewriter" and he looked at us and said "I haven't heard that one in a while."  Classic!  No one cried ... we have arrived, well until junior comes along!
Elyse found that the wreath can act as a hoola hoop too!
We visited Bahamma Bucks for their free snow daze- yes you heard it all free for anyone in the restaurant! It was delicious.
Elyse just being cute while shopping at Hobby Lobby with mommy
Ryan, Addilyn and Else at our ward party
Attended the baby shower for Tamsen and soon to arrive Baby Call.  Addilyn was my little helper.

Nativity Angels from Cox Family Fireside with cousin Grace
Shepherds for Lawlor party Haylee with cousin Reece
Palmer grandchildren singing "Where are You Christmas" at the Palmer family Christmas party
Santa visited the party and we had NO criers this year!!!  I believe this is a FIRST and I was prepared to document!
Ballet Recital at the retirement home for Mrs. Erica
Addilyn and Elyse with their friend Katie
We took a little afternoon day trip out to check out the Temple Site in Gilbert. It is going to be amazing!
 My Little Elyse turned 3!
we had a very low key blue princess picnic in the park party and she loved it!
the guests: it was a freezing day and super windy so we didn't do a candle but the girls didn't seem to notice!
 Elyse and Grandma Treats
  friends Katie and Claire
blowing out the candle later that night
we finished off the birthday fun at Chick Filet playing and getting ice cream treats!

gingerbread house making... Haylee's finished product
this is what Elyse did most of the time, eat the candy and lick the frosting... it was nice because she didn't really care about helping with the actual house.
Addilyn's final product (they decided that the candyland game pieces would make the perfect gingerbread men!)
the newest cousin was added... baby Call was born to Tamsen and Clark on Dec 23. Merry Christmas to them a beautiful healthy baby boy! Proud Uncle Ryan and Clark and baby Call.
