Covina House... back view

This is the back of the house. The dirt piles are the footings that would eventually become the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. The house has a basement and so we had to get creative with the back porch area. We opted for a U shape with an exit from the Master bedroom.

We tore off the porch, and then knocked down the block wall to the left of the french doors and to the right of the white door. We had to cover up the basement window well to put the new kitchen in.

The plumbing... and the footings.

This is the master bedroom, before we added on. We decided to make it 9 foot ceilings so they had to take off the roof and start over. The sliding doors are where my new french doors are and the room extends about 18 feet to the left.
