I {heart} weddings...
That being said, Heather my little sister got married to Brandon Grissom on July 31, 2009. Yes it was warm and yes we were sweaty... but again I love everything about weddings, so it was amazing... all of it. I love the fuss about details, clothes, food, photos, the party etc. You get the idea. So here is how everything played out...
...the beautiful bride...
... the happy couple...

I went with Heather to take some bridal pictures at the Boyd Thompson Arboretum on the way to Globe, AZ. We left my house around 5:30 AM and drove out there. The place was huge but amazing. These are a couple of my favorite shots.
Hair appointment for me and then girls night with the sisters and sister in laws getting nails done and then to Olive Garden... it was tons of fun!
Thursday: July 30
Wedding dinner at the church. I made 3 huge salads with tons of stuff in them. The food was great and everything was set up so nicely. The grand kids sang: boys {you are so beautiful with Heather in the middle chair}

girls: {LOVE from little rascals} both were adorable.
They even had little matching shirts!
My mother's sisters all sang "You and I" their famous song they sing at all of our wedding dinners. The first time they sang it was at my mom and dad's wedding dinner.
My little family!
Friday: July 31
Wedding prep... The ceremony was at 3:00. It was beautiful and so fun to see all of my siblings and their spouses in the temple. I was so emotional and Heather was such a beautiful bride! The weather was hot, so after the ceremony, we took some fast photos. Ryan and I had a babysitter bring the girls down to the Temple and when Heather came out it was so fun to see them ooo and ahhh over how beautiful she looked! Heather was glowing and was so incredibly happy. Brandon her hubby is great and we really are happy that he is in the family now! After the temple we went home and changed and cooled off. Then it was off to the Wright House where we got photos taken and enjoyed the evening. {photos by Annie Randall} They had ice cream sundae bar, slush, popcorn and cake/treats. At about 6:30 {the start of the night} I had a babysitter come to the reception. She helped hold Elyse or keep an eye on the girls so Ryan and I could enjoy the night. Seriously the best idea yet, we will do this for each following reception. At about 8 when the younger two were tired she took them home and put them to bed. Ryan and I were able to enjoy the night. Haylee played and danced in the garden for the majority of the night with her cousins. Heather made the flower clips for all of us, and Rachelle made our necklaces. Melanie made the little girl necklaces and Grandma Treats made the dresses for the little girls. Sister in law Jenn did the decorating. The entire night was perfect and Heather was the most beautiful bride. She is so kind and the favorite aunt of all the kids. Heather will be missed by the kiddos, but I am sure that we can sacrifice her availability so that she can be with Brandon.:) I am so happy for you Heather! I know that you and Brandon will be so happy. After Heather and Brandon left and we were cleaning up. The cake was sitting there, and they were just going to throw it away because most of it was rice crispy cake, and so we started eating the top layer which was red velvet. It was so yummy. Thanks for sharing Heather and Brandon. It was delicious!

Wow! What a gorgeous wedding. Your family is beautiful!
We got it at Dillards two years ago as an option for a dance and she ended up finally wearing it for homecoming. It was less than $100 and strapless, but my mom sewed in some sleeves. I wore it on a cruise with a shirt under it and seriously I just wanted to dancce all night long. It was such a fun dress to wear!
