This past week has been filled with festivities for my brother Aaron's wedding. He has married a girl named Rachelle Merrill. She is tall, beautiful and just all around perfect. She fits in so wonderfully with our family and we already feel like she was our newest sister, long before the wedding! We are so happy that she is officially part of our family and that Aaron has found his perfect match! She loves the outdoors, quads, fishing, hunting, and on the other side, loves vintage antiques, roses and everything girlie! We are so happy for both of you! Congratulations.
The wedding festivities went something like this!
On the 19th we had the bridal shower at my mother's house. One of Rachelle's friends made the invitations and my sister-in-law Jenn planned the food, and decorated. It was perfect of course! This is just her speciality and it is always amazing to see what she comes up with. There was a huge turnout and Rachelle was able to get lots of great things! Here are some photos of the event!
The bridal shower fell on the night of Aaron's birthday. So he came over afterwards and we sang Happy Birthday to him.
On the 20th we had a Western Wedding dinner. My brother Todd and his friend Craig have a catering business that smokes meat. It is better then any restaurant. They prepared all the meat and other assignments were made for the sides. There was a great turnout for the dinner. My mom and sisters and I decorated the stake center in a western theme. After we got there, Ryan helped out with the meat. (Here he is in front of the smoker)
Uncle Nathan and Addilyn. Haylee, Savanna, and Maddie, just being so cute!
At one point lots of the guys were standing on the wall eating and making sure the food was full. My brothers and cousins. Ryan is on the far right side. Part of the evenings entertainment was my mother and her sisters. It has been a tradition that they sing a song called You and I. It was a song that they first sang at my mom's reception. It makes me cry every time I hear it.

Rachelle's dad, Gary also sang a sweet song about daughters. It was so beautiful and so precious. Nothing like a daddy's girl! Here is Ryan and Addilyn just having a good time. Addilyn looks so cute in this photos!

The family at the wedding dinner!

The actual Wedding was on Thursday, the 27th. Rachelle had all the girls be in a pink dress with a brown sash. The little boys wore wranglers and boots. They all looked so cute! The reception was held at the Rogers house (across the street from the house I grew up in). She had a tent, beautiful lights, and lots of details. The whole night was absolutely beautiful. We had a great time and it was such a fun party! Here is Savanna and Haylee before the party! Addilyn and Haylee having a calm moment! Oh they looked so cute in their sea of tulle!

Aaron and Rachelle had a dance floor and they girls just danced their hearts out. Haylee literally danced for about 21/2 hours. She came home after the party and crashed!. Here is my immediate family and the bride and groom. A cheesy photo... but oh well.

All the girls. The colors were pink, brown and green... basically anything goes! Here are all the grandchildren from both sides... we are even missing 8 babies. Sort of out of control. Haylee and Addilyn are sitting near the front right side.

Family shot! Oh don't you just love the tulle. I am seriously obsessed. Thanks again Erica, Addilyn looked great and the dress was perfect.

We decorated Aaron's truck but then his friend let him take the Dodge Viper... so we decorated for the photos I guess! Here is the bride and groom with bubbles on their way out!
Aaron and Rachelle. When Aaron drove away he peeled out so loudly. It was so much fun. All in all the night was perfect and everything was so fun. Thanks for a week filled with Wedding festivities. We are so happy for you both!
