Making up for lost time!

So here is what has been going on in our lives in the past couple of weeks. To say the least, we have been a little busy enjoying life!

My youngest brother Nathan left for the MTC November 7. These photos were taken at the setting apart. He is leaving to the mission home this week and will serve the next 2 years in the Ogden, Utah Mission. I am so excited for him to begin this new phase of life. He will be an amazing missionary and I am so proud of him. And he has a contagious smile...

Our nieces Brooklynn (brown hair) and Skye (blonde hair) were baptized on the 10 November. We are so proud of you girls. They looked beautiful in there new white dresses! After the baptism we had a BBQ! It just so happened that there was a college football game on as well, so everyone was happy.

The Bingham family (minus a few...)

On the Monday following the baptism, we decided to take a last minute trip to the mountains with Ryan's brother Jeremy and his family. We stayed at my parent's cabin. There was no snow, but it was cold and we got to test out our winter jackets! It was fun. We went fishing and had a bonfire, roasted marshmallows, read books, and just hung out. It was incredibly relaxing and so much fun to spend time with Jeremy, Jill, Ella, Caden, and Taylor. They lived with us this past summer as they sold their old house and bought their new one, so it was fun to be together again. The kids really had a great time playing together! Thanks again for the fun!!!

These photos are from fishing. We started on the dock and after about 20 minutes of ducks and Addilyn and Taylor almost falling in, we decided to move to the rocks where there was a little path. It also didn't last too long and Jill and I ended up taking the babies back the the cabin. I mean really 14 month old and water... what were we thinking.

Addilyn checking out the ducks. She was in absolute heaven! After struggling in the stroller, I let her get out and she played with the bobber and little rubber worms. She had a great time!

The ultimate DIVA! She was totally alone on this one. I had nothing to do with the ensemble. It started out really chilly so we layered. She then decided that she needed the gloves, and hat and because it was a little sunny she also needed her glasses. Let me remind you that she really is holding a fishing pole in her hands that has an active bobber on the end. She is our Princess Haylee. What more can I say!

Jill making sure that Taylor did not fall in the lake as he was viewing the ducks.

At my parents cabin, they have a play thing with swings and a slide. Addilyn HATES swings. She gets really anxious and breathes in short little breaths. It is very funny that she is scared of swings when she will climb on top of the bathroom counter or stand on the table in Haylee's room without out a glimmer of fear. She even hates it when you hold her and swing. This is very ironic, because for the first 3 months of her life, she loved the baby swing. What she loves is going down the slide. It is pretty high and we would set her up there alone and she would slide down... no fear. Some one explain this!!! So here is the girls sliding down together. They are just starting to get to an age where they can play really well together. Yeah for sisters.

Jeremy and Jill's family. We roasted marshmallows and enjoyed a campfire. Addilyn fell asleep early that night so we really got to enjoy the campfire. Haylee wanted to take a photo of Ryan and I. This is the result. Haylee roasting a marshmallow.
