We went to my parent's cabin for Labor Day. Normally it is packed with families up for softball tournaments and those of us wanting to get away from the heat. This year it eneded up just being my mom and dad and Ryan and the girlies and I. It rained some of the time and was cool the rest. We went to the corn festival in Taylor and had some sweet corn and just hung out. It was so quiet in the cabin with only my two girlies to make any noise. On Sunday night my brother Todd and his son Bryson came up and stayed. Haylee was happy to have a little company. It was so fun to have a weekend away with just my parents. Thanks again Mom and Dad for a fun time. We are so lucky to have a place to escape to!
They had a live band playing for entertainment and the girls were totally entertained!
I put the girlies hair in pink sponge curlers for church. Haylee's really turned out pretty, but Addilyn pulled all of hers out during the night, so she was left with bed head!
My dad caught a little horney toad when they were out scouting for elk. It was a really pretty red color and so little. Addilyn loved to hold it and carry it in the bucket. Haylee even decided that it was okay to hold and have on her shirt because it was little!

Your girls are so beautiful! I'm glad I found your blog, I'm finding more and more cousins that are doing this and it's such a cool way to keep up with what our huge family is doing.
How fun that you were the only ones up there! I ahd no idea! What a great relaxing weekend!
