On Thursday Ryan and I left the girlies in the loving care of Grandma Muriel and caught a flight to Utah. We stayed in Murray with my friend Amy. On Friday morning we went to the Salt Lake temple for a wedding for one of Ryan's friends, Scott Hawkes. After that we went and toured the Church History Museum (some of you may be thinking... how boring, but come on, we are both history majors and totally enjoy 2 hours in a museum, especially without babies!) Then we went to the Lion House for the luncheon. It was really yummy food, especially the rolls and honey butter! On to do some shopping at the distribution center and then we went back to the temple for a session and then on to the reception in Tooele. It was a fun filled day and at the end of all the wedding festivities we got to hang out at Amy's place with her fiance Ryan. We had a great time and the weather was amazing. Amy, being the awesome friend that she is, gave me a scalp treatment and I was in heaven! She also introduced me to the drink Simply Limeade and I am now addicted. Ryan and I were exhausted and ended up sleeping in on Saturday (but then again, you can do that when you don't have babies with you!!!). We packed up and caught our flight. We picked up the girlies from Grandma Muriel's and heard all about their fun adventures. Thanks to Amy for letting us crash her place and thanks to all the family that helped take such good care of our little girlies. It was so nice to get away for a perfect weekend.
Salt Lake Temple (we found this cool little old bench that was totally secluded and took a picture with the timer!)

I do love new drinks... funny that you put it that way. Yes, I have not had an italian soda in a while and now I want one right now and this is really bugging me cause it is late and I won't go and get one even though I really want one! I don't know how "cute" that is, but yes she is making her presence known more everyday.
