This past Friday, I thought I would take my girls on an adventure to the museum. We have never gone and I figured they were old enough to enjoy it. So we went to the dinosaur museum in downtown Mesa. It ended up being such a nice time, I think we will go back. My girls were a little afraid of the dinosaurs and kept quite close which made keeping track of them easier. The jail cells made them a little worried and I tried to explain that if they went inside they wouldn't be locked up. They LOVED the panning for gold and brought home a little bag full of gold nuggets!
On Saturday we went to Ella's baptism (Haylee's cousin). Haylee got to sing as part of the program with Ella and her aunt. They did a great job Ella looked so cute in her new dress. Great job on sewing/designing the dress Jill. Haylee said that I need to have you teach me how to do that so she can have a pretty dress too! After the baptism, we went to Jeremy and Jill's house with both sides of the family and swam and ate lunch. It was a fun afternoon. Thanks again for being such great hosts.
While we were checking out dinosaur bones, Ryan was climbing on Mayan ruins and scuba diving in shark infested waters. He went to Guatemala with his brother Jordan this past weekend. Jordan is leaving to go there in October on his mission so they went to do all the touristy stuff he won't be able to do as a missionary. They visited the mission office in Guatemala City, the ruins in Tikal and went scuba diving in the Blue Hole off the coast of Belize. They had a great time, but we are all happy that they are back home!

Hi Julie,
I left a message on one of your earlier blogs, but I am not sure if you got it. There are some Palmers in my ward, but I don't know if they are related to you or not. I need to get your e-mail address.
Talk to you soon, hopefully.
I'm so glad you guys had fun at the museum! I didn't even ask you how it went! We'll have to join you next time for sure.
Julie, I can see all of your blog now. Fun. Congrats to Jordan. Let me know when he speaks in church.
