Happy 33rd Birthday to Ryan!!!

For Ryan's birthday I decided I wanted to do a day long day filled with movies. He loves movies and always comments that it would be really cool to do a double feature like the old Main Street theater (some of you know what I am talking about...two movies and one entrance) So we planned a day date. The girls started the day off by giving Ryan some Cologne that they helped me pick out. Then my sister Heather baby sat the girls . We started around 10:30AM and hit Paradise Bakery at Marketplace. We got some sandwhiches and yummy cookies of course and then went to Harkins. We bought our tickets for the 11:15AM of Night at the Museum and the Terminator at the Cine Capri. So we watched Night at the Museum, great movie with lots of laughs. Then we took a break and then headed into the Cine Capri. I got us some sweet seats even though it was pretty packed. Ryan grabbed some movie treats and we sat down for an intense showing of Terminator. Okay movie, but a great experience in the Cine Capri. It really feels like you are part of the movie! After that we went to some shops in marketplace to find some clothes for Ryan's birthday (unfortunately, he is tall and apparently no stores carry a 38 x 34 in stock! lame) so then we went to Home Depot and then hit an early dinner at Famous Daves at Riverview. If you haven't eaten there, you need to. It was yummy and took an hour total. Then we headed back over to Marketplace for our final show a 6:10 showing of Angels and Demons. It was really great and intense. After the movie we headed home. The weather was beautiful (felt like CA) and the day was pretty much perfect!

We have decided that it was an incredibly fun day and that we need to do it more often. So if you love movies... you should try it!

The girls didn't really get to take part in that part of his birthday so we made a cake and celebrated at home! Small and simple just like Ryan likes it!
