So this year we put Addilyn in Swimming lessons. Haylee was fine and just needed a little time in the water with Daddy and she was good to go. They are now working on improving her strokes and they have races across the pool (not fair that Ryan is so tall, but he lets her have a little head start).
So we put Addilyn in with Jennifer Hall (who is really amazing). By the end of the 4 week session she was jumping off the diving board and swimming to the teacher with only a little help taking breaths. She loved going and I like that we did it during May so that I didn't have to sit in the heat. She not totally swimming on her own, but does really well and by next summer will be a regular fish! The funny thing about little Addilyn is that she is not afraid at all. I was surprised by this as sometimes she tends to be a little more shy in certain circumstances. When I swim with her, she will tell me to scoot back away from the wall till I am in the middle of my mom's pool before she will jump. She also comes up smiling every time! She is such a cute little fish! Just keep swimming...
