These boot are made for more than just walking!

I LOVE boots and wish that AZ had some crazy weather every now and then to justify wearing cute boots... on this day I thought, "It is winter and I love to wear boots and today it is not supposed to be too warm, so I will wear my boots..."

What I didn't know was what a crazy day it was going to be and how bad of a choice of footwear I had made...

First- my prego sister Denise and I carried and loaded this chicken coop filled with 8 large chickens to my car from her back yard. I got a cut on my hand and nasty dirty water spilled on me in the process. It was not easy, but I am now the caretaker of 8 chickens. It is my job (mostly Ryan does the work though) to try and get them to lay eggs as they were in a bit of a slump at Denise's house.

When I got home, Ryan and I again moved this chicken coop to our back yard... again getting nasty water all over me. (on a side note, this is not the cage we keep them in, we are more of a free range chicken family)

After moving the chickens we loaded up the girls and went and got this fire pit from my dad's farm to use for the Bingham family bonfire/marshmallow roast. Moving crew included me (and my boots) and Ryan...

Then we enjoyed a nice bonfire (Notice the fire extinguisher)

Earlier in the day, as I had driven home from my sister's house I took some back roads because the chicken coop was sticking out the back of the truck a couple of feet. I saw garage sale sign in the neighborhood and thought why not... I stopped and now the Bingham family is the proud owner of a new $50.00 tramp. I paid for the tramp and then after the bonfire Ryan and I loaded it onto a trailer and drove it carefully to our house. Then we unloaded it into our backyard and put it together. The girls enjoying their new tramp.
