I {heart} traditions.
So Easter morning the girls have to find their Easter Basket that has been filled with goodies. I found oriental fans from the dollar store in a cute case and the girls were in love. They found their baskets had chocolate for breakfast and everyone was happy. Elyse even figured out that inside the eggs there was treats. Once she discovered that, she was opening eggs like crazy.
Haylee could hardly wait and ended up helping Addilyn find her basket. Then they slowly emptied them and examined the contents. This kept them entertained for at least the first part of conference.
Then breakfast and play time. I had them get dressed, but since it was not going to church day, they settled on their new matching skirts and I had gone to a wedding the night before and seen this cute hair do on the bride, so during conference we played beauty shop.
It really turned out well and kept their hair out of their faces.
The rest of the day consisted of relaxing and enjoying being at home. I set up a small table by the TV that had projects, conference games etc where the girls could come and do quiet projects. This year conference was by far the most calm environment, amazing when I do a little prep!
Conference was amazing. I was so excited about their messages as Haylee was able to listen to some. She liked taking notes and writing down the speaker's names.
What a lovely way to remember our Savior.

My kids have to find their baskets too! It gets pretty fun as they get older, mine now 8-15, to hide them well. Your family is adorable! If you ever go private, let me know! I love checking in on you once in awhile since I never get to see ya!
