Easter festivities:
Dying Easter Eggs. I was a little worried about our brown eggs
but seriously the color was beautiful and I would recommend using them all the time. We set up an Easter Egg dying station during conference
and it ended up working pretty good. The girls LOVED to decorate and color them with stickers and watch the images appear and we loved having a structured activity during conference.
I made a pretty one with all my family faces.
Cute I know, it made me smile.
Addilyn made one for Ryan with an R on it.
Very impressive!
The final products:
Elyse and her token egg... yes it is green but it does have her name on it, with a star, like a star belly sneech!
Addilyn's beautiful eggs. We heard Addilyn say- "I am a very good artist, I am" many times throughout the morning as her images from the crayon would appear with the dye. She is notorious for confirming her thoughts with a repetitive statement that follows. I love her confidence!
Haylee's final products included detailed images and lots of letters.
Notice the colors. Seriously BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you chickens.
And what would Easter be without new matching dresses. Thanks to Costco, I still might have a year or so left of matching Easter mornings!! I made a pink matching pencil skirt for me... photos to come!
