Catching Up!

Warning: This will be a long post and is primarily to catch up on life for the past couple of months. Just so you know. You have been warned and you are now reading at your own discretion.
January-
New Years spent in a quiet evening at home celebrating at 8:30 PM with apple cider, banging pots and pans, and watching the Dick Clark's rocking New Year celebrations. The girls LOVED the cider! Elyse's first New Years!
Cheers!
The New Years pots and pans parade!
BBQ and fire pit at Bingham's shortly after New Years. Burning the Christmas tree.
Jill and Zachary, Julie and Elyse

Tatum, Chloe, Haylee, and Ella (cousins)

Zach and Elyse (cousins)

Super bowl Sunday we had the Bingham Family over and this picture was taken near the end of the game. Here is all the family and here is Elyse. She slept 2 feet away from the TV the entire game and never even flinched!
Haylee participated in a little cheer clinic with her cousins at Carson and then performed at a basketball game. Go Cougars. She even learned the chant "Carson's what dynamite (repeat 3 times)! Carson's tick tick tick boom dynamite." Yeah that is for all you Cougar fans out there. Don't worry the motions for the cheer are still the same. Go ahead try them... you know you remember!
Just a cute little picture of my newest princess!

Did I mention that we have chickens? At the end of November Ryan bought 6 baby chickens from the feed store. We only had one die (it was sick when we bought it). With Elyse being born I never even got a picture of them being small, so here they are in all their chicken glory. Introducing Pocky Locky, Sparkles, Rose, and Freckles, (The Rooster does not have a name because Ryan told the girls that we were going to eat him, so to avoid emotional ties he remains unnamed).
Playing in the leaves... why do we have "fall" in January? Funny how that works out!

Grandma Muriel gave Haylee her first "real" haircut. (the trims from Mom apparently don't count) Grandma cut off 4 inches making her very thick hair more manageable). I never did get a follow up picture! It looks great though. Thanks Grandma Muriel. Haylee sat so still and was so excited and serious during the cut.
Addilyn (under the kind graces of my dear friend Erica) has started dance lessons. Addilyn has been talking about when she is "big" and gets to take dance like her sister. So one day we were getting Haylee ready for class and Addilyn wanted to get dressed up as well. When we went to class there were not many girls there so Erica allowed Addilyn to join for a day seeing that she was dressed. Surprising, she did very well and has since been allowed to join officially. So here she is my little dancer loving every second of it and the best part is she is "big" now and is not sad about not getting to go to dance. Thanks again Erica!!!
Haylee and Addilyn having a picnic lunch on the lawn... yes it really is January folks!
My three little polka dot girls at the zoo! Thanks to Walmart I can have them ALL matching!

Elyse and cousin Grace (my sister Denise's baby)

Tinsley Bigler and Elyse (they are 5 days apart)

My best little helper. Haylee has been so helpful with baby Elyse. She loves to feed her for my and cuddle with her on the couch. At even a couple days old, Elyse would snuggle with Haylee and watch cartoons being completely content in her arms.

Cousins forever!
Julie, Sarah, Kaylani, Karen

Elyse is one month old!!!

weight: 7 lbs 4 oz
height: 21 inches
She is sleeping pretty well through the night and allows mommy some pretty good stretches. (4-5 hours)
She loves to be held and talked to.
When she sleeps she must have good dreams because she constantly is smiling.
She gets really excited when Haylee and Addilyn come in the room.
Addilyn is liking her more and more everyday (at first she was a little concerned about this new baby and how she took away alot of mommy's time).
She has a good cry and will let you know what she wants!
She is starting to smile (and its not just on accident).

I second Kaylani, good job. I love all the pictures, Elyse looks so great, and so do your big girls. And so do you, for that matter. Sisters are the best, I sure hope Halle has at least one some day. Also, LUV the ballerina picture, for me, there is nothing really better than a little girl in a tutu.

Yay! Now you just need to teach Haylee "ya we're mean, ya we're cool we're going to ride over you like a Kawasaki, vroom vroom!"
