This is the last of catching up...
February-
Ryan made this cake for Muriel's (his momma) birthday. I frosted it, but he did all the baking! Great job and it tasted delicious. Happy Birthday Muriel.

Every year on Valentines Day my Dad has given us a rose. This year he came and delivered one for each of his girls! It was so fun and the girls LOVED having their very own in their very own vase!

We went to McCormick Train Park for Haylee's friend Grace's birthday. It was such a fun park with a train to ride, tons of grassy areas, cool playground equipment, and a carousel. So we had cupcakes and had a great birthday. This is seriously my new favorite place to spend a gorgeous spring afternoon or day!
Addilyn on the Carousel

Haylee balancing on the balance beam! She is all about tricks lately.

Claire Soelberg and Elyse

Me and the girls on the train! The loved it, especially the tunnel part when they got to scream with the hands in the air... just like Disneyland!

Kaylani Mavity and I were asked to help with a cousin's bridal shower... this is the result. I was quite shocked that it worked out as good as it did, considering we put it together the night before! Thanks Kaylani for your help even if our babies cried the entire 2 hours that we worked on it.

Ryan took some of the youth up to the mountains for a combined day snow trip. When he got home he had 2 ice chests full of snow for the girls. So in our almost summer weather, the girls got out their mittens and made a snow girl. They had so much fun. After we made the snow girl and then took her to the front yard to let her be seen by all who passed by our house, Haylee decided she wanted to knock it over so that she could have a snowball fight, so we did and between Haylee and Addilyn I got a pretty good soaking. Addilyn actually threw a good size one right in Ryan's face. Sad that this was the only snow they got to see this year. We never did make it up to the mountains... it was too hard with a new baby (sorry, all of you who actually LIVE where it snows and is freezing. I don't know how you do it!) After a good snowball fight, they made a snow dog and a baby dog. Then later as it was melting we had to sing 'Once their was a snow man' and talk about how they melt and don't last forever. The next day they still were sad that it was gone!

This is my latest obsession! My sister Denise has a 5 month old baby who loves the tags on toys. So she saw a girl at the park with a blanket like this, so I made one. It is silky and minky with tags all the way around. She actually loves it and I just love how they look! This could keep ME entertained! So here is the final product of the Tag blankie!

My friend had these "month cards" on her blog and I loved the idea of it, so I am going to try and keep up. Here is Elyse's 2 month old photo shute... needless to say it is sure fun to take photos when she can hold her head up and smile! Of course this means Addilyn and Haylee got in on the action as well.
Addilyn looking cute as ever!

Haylee laughing as she is sitting in the Bumbo chair.

My girlies!

Elyse Muriel Bingham

2 month stats:
10 lbs 9 oz
23 inches
Elyse loves to smile all the time. All you have to do is touch her little chin and she gives you a big gummy smile.
She loves her sisters and smiles whenever they talk to her.
She sleeps through the night almost every night
She is still portable and can be taken to movies, dinners, anything as long as she can snuggle and sleep!
She is starting to be able to hold her head up when lying on the ground on her tummy.
She has just found her hand and I wake up at night to her loudly sucking on her hand.
When she gets excited she makes a sucking sound with her mouth almost as if she were laughing it is so far my favorite sound she makes.

Baby Jake's funeral. This was my sister Liz's baby that died after only 19 days due to heart complications with some other problems mixed in there. He was so sweet and had the most beautiful little spirit all wrapped up in this little tiny body. The service was beautiful and so special, strengthening all of our testimonies about this plan of happiness that we are all living. My sister is so strong and I am in awe by her understanding and faith!

Sweet little Jake's final resting place here on earth. The little fuzzy coffin looked so soft and comfortable. Just perfect for little Jake.
after the dedication to the grave, my mom blew up lots of blue balloons for the kids to let go. Here is Addilyn holding tight. It was a really windy day.

So after we went to the train park for Grace's Birthday, we decided later that same week to go back. So my friend Erica and I packed up the kids in her car and drove over. We spent the entire day from 11-4:30, and the kids were still sad to go. We played on the playground, ate a picnic lunch (thanks Erica for that yummy salad!), rode the carousel, ate ice cream cones and played some more. It seriously was such a fun day. Here are some photos of all the fun!

The super fun thing about our families is that we both have 3 girls and they are all the same ages! It makes it very easy for playing. We also both like to dress them in matching outfits!
Claire, Erica, Mae, Grace, Haylee, Addilyn, Julie, Elyse.
Haylee in a pretty intense game of puppies (it is her favorite make believe thing right now... might be time for a dog!)
The mommas and our new babies!
The girls posing... seriously all I said was 'lets take your picture' and this is what they gave me. It was so funny.

Addilyn kept digging in the dirt... this one was taken as she was taking a break!

I love how intense her little face is.

Ryan had 64 bales of hay delivered the other day for the cows. So they delivered it and then he had to unstack it and move it 10 feet and then restack it so that he could use it. It was a ton of work for him as each bale is 100 lbs, but the girls had a great time as he stacked it. It made for a great play place and stage. They had lots of fun singing, climbing, and jumping...

I am so impressed with the catching up. I didn't even know that you did some of those things. I think that I am supposed to know everything. I want to go to the train park before it gets too hot. Friday???
Looks like you guys have been having ALOT of fun! Your girls sure are cute.
