Spring Break 2009

The girls and I went up to my parent's cabin in the mountains for Spring Break. Driving with 3 babies in the car is always interesting when you are alone, but the girls were great and Elyse slept the whole way up. I took up Muriel's (my mother in law) awesome camera so I got some fun shots! It was the mommas (Denise, Mel, and my Mom) and kids until Wednesday and then my dad and some of the dads, Unlce Aaron, and nephews came up to go snow boarding. We had a great time wearing sweaters and playing outdoors all day. By the end of the day baths were a must and the kids were exhausted. We came back on Friday morning. The ride home was a little less then perfect. At first my car wheel was making some crazy noise, then about 20 minutes in Addilyn threw up everywhere (she had been eating chocolate ice cream too) and then Elyse cried for about an hour. When I finally pulled over and checked her out, she was soaked because her bottle had been tipped over. Poor thing had been trying to tell me something was wrong. So it was a "fun" drive, but we survived and were so happy to see Ryan when we got home. Thanks mom and dad for letting us use the cabin. It was a fun time, but we all missed Ryan!

The kids all worked together to make this massive sand fort that they all could fit in. They even ate their dinner in it! It had all sorts of supplies and while they were building it you could hear them say "come on guys we have to work!" So fun.
