Christmas Eve and Morning!

So I am sure that you are all tired of the extended Christmas blogs, but seriously this year I had my camera at EVERY event and took lots of pictures. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have 2 babies now and love to capture them interacting. So Christmas Eve we spent at Ryan's parents. Eating dinner, visiting Grandma and Grandpa Lawlor (Ryan's Grandparents), doing the gift exchange among the adults, and the PJ opening for the grand babies.

Addilyn in a box, Bingham Grand babies in their new jammies, Haylee & Tatum playing.

Christmas morning the girls woke up around 9:00AM (it was so nice!!!). This year for Christmas it was all about the baby dolls. By request from Haylee, Ryan made each of the girls their own doll cradle. They turned out so cute! Haylee got her Marianna doll (a mermaid doll from Dora saves the Mermaid), a remote control car, some princess figurines, and a new dress for her baby. Addilyn got the ride on princess toy from Santa as well as a new baby (that is exactly like Haylee's baby, to limit the fighting on a daily basis), and some cars that pull and release. She actually opened the presents and didn't just get stuck on the wrapping paper! Ryan got a cool helicopter, that he was able to fly in the house. It is tiny and can operate and land and take off. They had a blast with it the whole day. Ryan gave me a cute pink reversible tech vest, (who would have ever thought, me in a tech vest), candle sticks, shoes, and some jel socks for tired feet! So perfect.

My favorite picture of Addilyn. She saw her baby, the cradle and the candy cane... After that nothing else mattered.
And of course, she loves to climb in things, and her cradle is no exception.

After we did our own Christmas morning, we went to my parent's house at about 10:00AM. We had breakfast and then had the gift exchange (couples have other couples and grand babies pick names for each other). My sister Jenn and Russ, made a ribbon board for me. You can see it in the background of the photo with Ryan. Is is beautiful and they also gave us a date night out kit, complete with tee-shirts that say, "I'm on a date with my HOT husband/Wife," gift certificates to a restaurant, movies, and golden spoon. Thanks again Jenn. My parents gave us some money, which I bought my new Camcorder!!! I love it. It is the Sony Hard Drive kind. I am seriously obsessed, so if there is lots more movies on my blog, you know why.

The tree, Ryan with our Date Night Out basket!

After we hung out at my parents, we went back to Bingham's and opened more presents and hung out. We received lots of clothes, jewelry, and toys for the girls. It was such a fun time. The rest of Christmas was spent going back and forth between Bingham's and Palmers, eating and resting and just enjoying each other's company.
In front on the Bingham's tree, Mikala, Haylee & Tatum playing with their new toys. Addilyn & mommy Christmas morning.

Yaaaay for Christmas blogs. And sad for not seeing you while I was there. We're coming back in a few weeks, so perhaps then...

I love the pictures of Addilyn in the cradle. And good worker Ryan on the cradles! Did he make them from scratch or did he have some kind of kit? What a cute little handy thing he is.

And I would like you to take back every mean thing you ever said to me about my lone tech vest. Go ahead. I am waiting.

okay Jen. I vaguely remember the tech vest that was the source of so much ridicule... but I honestly didn't get it, and now I am truely converted. I love my tech and I am sorry for the mean comments. The funny thing is, I feel like a Utah girl when I wear it. It must have something to do with the fact that that is where I first really saw them in practice.
Ryan made the cradles by a combination of our own design. No kits here, just his pure creatvity! Just wait, when you have girls, Michael will do the same, except, we have kept the design for future cradles in case we have any more girls (no announcement) he doesn't have to come up with the design all over again and Michael can use the design. Okay that is all for now.
