So here are our New Years events. We celebrated New Years with our girlies at about 9:00PM. Banged pots and pans, shouted, took photos, watched the ball drop live in NY, and had a little toast and talked about goals. Then it was off to bed for the babies. We spend the rest of the evening watching movies. It was a nice and quiet evening. On New Year's Day, my dad hosted his annual family New Year's day BBQ out in the desert. We roast hot dogs, ride quads, go shooting, and just hang out. This year Grandpa took everyone on an adventure. We drove to a little wash where the water was actually running and then we went and found pottery. The kids had so much fun digging for "treasures". The kids also got to ride in the back of the truck, which was pretty exciting! What a fun tradition. Thanks Dad for getting everyone together. What better way to spend the first day of the New Year.
Addilyn loved the sparkling cider!

Haylee was so excited that she got to bang the pots and pans togther and that she could scream as loud as she wanted.

Playing in the wash/sand (Addilyn in pig tails for the first time!)
