More Christmas Fun

Following Disneyland on Sunday, we went to a party for the Cox side ( my mother's side). We did the nativity and Haylee was an angel. After the nativity, Haylee and her cousins sang Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer complete with actions and cute antlers!

The following night on Monday, we had a the Palmer (my dad's side) Christmas party. Addilyn got to participate this time and was a little angel. Haylee decided that she wanted to be a shepherd with gold to give to baby Jesus. All the kids kept telling her to go with the wise men, but she insisted that she was a shepherd with a gift for baby Jesus. After dinner, the nativity, and some singing, Santa came to visit! He had a gift for all the kids. Haylee was all smiles this year and Addilyn even did okay. Thanks Dad for arranging all the gifts for the kids!

After Haylee got off of Santa's lap, she said, 'Mommy he didn't give me a 'Marianna doll.' I asked her what she meant, and she told me "Mommy I have asked him for a doll and he didn't bring it." I finally realized that she had already sat on Santa's lap 2 times before this and asked him for a Marianna doll and still had not gotten the resutls she was looking for! Then she opened her present and it was some jewelry and all was forgotten before I had time to come up with a witty answer!
